It has been quite some time since SILENTHEART was released; November 2009 as a matter of fact. A lot has taken place in our family and due to those unforseen obstacles SILENT MADNESS was put on hold. I am proud to announce that Eternal Press offered me a contract and book two is currently with them undergoing the publication process. I have been void of this site for a while due to the same afore mentioned obstacles. It is hoped that an early spring release of SILENT MADNESS will renew the love story between the good vampire, Carter, and his mortal wife, Sarah. Carter finally gets to tell Sarah, as well as you, his story in book two. It is compelling and is worthy of a read.
I will keep you posted on final release date. E-book will be available first. Look for SILENTHHEART in ebook now available at amazon.com or authorhouse.com.
AUTHOR COMMENT
Vampire stories seem to be popping up everywhere nowadays. Television is even mixing vampires, werewolves and ghosts in Being Human on the SyFy channel. The Vampire Dairies has returned and a new movie is in the works to re-release Dark Shadows. They all have one thing in common...vampires. But not all vampires are alike. They don't all feed on humans; Moonlight proved this theory. The Silentheart trilogy will prove to be another uncharted vampire existence. Do you not find it a bit refreshing to get out of the vampire-mold and enter into a new and exciting vampire existence? Many of you love the vampires of old such as Dracula and Vlad. That is fine; to each his own. Many may find my vampires not up to their liking. That is also fine. But, many of you will find the compassion my vampires exhibit will be almost aluring and compelling. Without knowing, you will be "sucked" into the world of Carter and Sarah and the way they handle their romance through difficult, if not impossible, situations.
Putting SILENTHEART into words was easy due to the fact that I find vampires facinating and that I can create, through fiction, my own personal vampire family. Not knowing any of my deceased relatives made it easy to create them as my characters. I feel I have created a family that I did not know and gave them an existence that will surpass any mortal life they lead.
Fiction is just that folks; fantasy mixed with real life. It gives the reader an opportunity to get away from their troubles for a while as they read about characters that have to deal with obstacles possibley worse than their own. Think about it. It's true. And what can be more appealing than to have an immortal and mortal hopelessly in love and beat the odds? If we could all say that of our own situation. :=
